Your instructor is Carolyn Ayers. Carolyn is a retired art teacher from Greene County who loves to share her passion and knowledge of many art mediums including weaving and spinning of llama fiber, kumihimo braiding and drawing in charcoal.

About the class
In this class students will learn how to use shapes, patterns, and value to create the likeness of a person. Using three values of charcoal on toned paper, students will learn different techniques for placing facial features correctly. This is a beginner class but all levels of drawing skills are welcome. Students need to bring an apron or wear old clothes.
