About the class
THIS IS A 2 NIGHT CLASS- Tuesday, August 19th and Thursday, August 21st from 5:30 to 7:30PM. In this class, students will learn the basics of drawing an animal using correct proportions and texture. The first night, participants will practice on example pictures using a grid to break down the face into simple shapes. On the second night, students will work on their individual pet pictures, concentrating on layering color and texture. Students are asked to bring an 8 x 10 picture of their pet in color. If a student doesn't have a picture, then there will be examples brought by the teacher to use. Pastel pencils will be the medium used for this project. Students need to bring an apron.
