SOLD OUT! Your instructor is Donovan Haynes of Forge in the Holler in Virginia. Donovan works full time as an artisan blacksmith and bladesmith. Donovan shows and demonstrates at several artisan fairs and is a sought-after teacher in the Appalachian area.

About the class
In this class, you will learn to forge and make some cooking tools of your own including a set of hooks, spatula/steak flipper to use for many, many years. The class is designed as an entry-level instruction but to still create items any smith would be proud of. Come join us and let your creativity come out of the fire and be put to the hammer and anvil! You will pay $75 when you register. A materials fee of $15 is due the day of the class and is to be paid directly to the instructor. Cash, no checks please. If the class if full, we can add you to our wait list! Please bring a lunch and plenty of water. Long sleeves and closed-toe shoes are a must.
